Runfold Area A Capping
Following on from the recently completed works in Area C for Red Materials.
Pope Plant Ltd moved on to Area A within the Runfold site to complete the remaining GCL Capping left over from 2017 in preparation for the complexed restoration contract within this area.
The works comprised of the installation of GCL material above a smooth rolled layer covered by 300mm clean screened material protection layer to complete the capping barrier and tie-in the whole area.
