The works began with an interesting entrance to the site from a very tight country lane expertly negotiated by our transport company of choice.
The topsoil was stripped from footprint of the lake and stockpiled.

A large key trench was excavated around perimeter of the lake to break existing land drains and filled with clay to create a ground level seal.
Lake walls were constructed to level and inside clay lined along with 4 shaped islands within the lake. When all levels were achieved, the topsoil was spread in preparation for grass seeding. All works were completed within 10 days with an expected opening date of Spring 2019 once all planting a filling with water after the winter of 2018
