It was elected to cut the Xmas break short due to the requirement for further engineering works required at Manor Barn Quarry for Downland Trading Ltd.
Pope Plant Ltd and Downland were very fortunate that the Xmas break and New Year were reasonably dry and cold. This enabled the engineering of Cell 2 floor and Side Wall using imported material that meets spec along with site derived material.
