ENOVERTS LANDFILL ENGINEERING ....
Pope Plant Ltd were awarded the construction and geotechnical engineering works of Cell 10 at Bellhouse Landfill in May 21.
These works followed on from Cell 8 and 9 the previous two years at Bellhouse and continued a great working relationship dating back to 2008.
The works comprised of cut/fill bulk excavation, groundwater management system, clay mineral lining system and leachate drainage and extraction infrastructure.
The works threw everything you can imagine at the Pope team and proved very difficult at various times of the construction process.
The works were completed in an 18 week period thanks in part to kind September weather that rescued a poor Summer.
The Pope team of plant and operators moved on to additional works on site.
