RUNFOLD AREA A RESTORATION

At last Pope's move on to the Restoration of Area A at the Suez site now that ecology work is complete within this area.

The pressure was now firmly on to get the site restored, seeded and completed before the weather turned.
The works were unlike a normal restoration project where soils are just placed.
the works consisted of loose soils placement procedure after ripping of the ground to 400mm with our D6T LGP dozer. The soils had to be excavated from various stockpiles around the site and placed to various thicknesses for tree planting and seeding.
The works also consisted of excavating surface water lagoons and installing extremely wide topsoil lined surface water ditches. Our Service engineer was required to fabricate a bucket to suit specification.
The works were completed with only days to spare before the weather broke for the winter.

Been a bit of a rush preparing this one
Apart from the hand painted counterweight itโ€™s pretty clean
No time to rub down, fill and spray properly as off to work next week.
Full service inc Hepa filters fitted for the soil treatment facility itโ€™s off to next week in Hertfordshire
Street pads came off nicely leaving like new grousers on the track pads๐Ÿ‘
