CLAY CAPPING AND RESTORATION

Upon completion of the project at Greatness Landfill, Pope Plant Ltd were successful in being awarded the clay capping and restoration at Barling.

The work involved excavating previously placed clay from stockpile, hauling, placing and compaction to form a 1 metre engineered capping system. When capping system was complete a further 1 metre of soils were excavated, hauled and placed as restoration.

As the works were ahead of schedule, Pope Plant Ltd were appointed to complete phase 2 and 3 of clay Cell wall engineering whilst present on site. This involved excavation of clay from stockpile, haul, place and compact to form 1 metre of clay engineered seal in preparation for waste.

Been a bit of a rush preparing this one
Apart from the hand painted counterweight it’s pretty clean
No time to rub down, fill and spray properly as off to work next week.
Full service inc Hepa filters fitted for the soil treatment facility it’s off to next week in Hertfordshire
Street pads came off nicely leaving like new grousers on the track padsπŸ‘
