Pope Plant Ltd succeeded in obtaining access to MUS/Anglian Water preferred tender list for the first time.
Complexed procedures had to be overcome in gathering all information and accreditations required to be added to the approved contractor list.
The first tender Pope Plant Ltd received from MUS was priced and won.
An embankment around a reservoir in Essex had failed and slipped due to the steepness.
Pope Plant Ltd carried out the removal of topsoil, placement of imported aggregate to achieve correct slope gradients, installation of Geogrid and earlier removed topsoil.
The works were carried out in a sensitive nature environment weeks ahead of programme and well within budget with many cost savings.
