Temporary Surface Water Management Scheme
After pricing a large scale Surface Water scheme at Seale Lodge for Suez in 2015, which was put on hold due to some design issues, Pope Plant Ltd were asked to construct a temporary scheme to satisfy the local planning authority.
The works involved constructing a GCL lined cut off ditch to stop water existing the site at the main entrance.
A large soakaway was excavated on the site boundary to capture the water from the new cut off ditch.
Aggregate weirs were installed on the main haul road and directed to grass restored areas to prevent water run off.
The works were completed as temporary solution whilst further design work is undertaken by Suez.
“The works involved constructing a GCL lined cut off ditch to stop water existing the site at the main entrance.”
“The success of the project was mainly down to the way Craig Pope and his colleagues understood the client’s needs, worked with an excellent spirit of collaboration and interfaced with all the parties to complete the project.
I would recommend others to seriously consider the services of Pope Plant”
