Surface Water Management and Restoration
Pope Plant Ltd tendered for the project in December 2015, with the scheme be revised many times during 2016.
The works involved several alterations to existing ditches, excavation of new soak aways, new ditches with aggregate fill and added to the contract whilst on site was the removal of 1000m of chainlink fencing and replacing with stock fence along with site entrance alterations to the road and gates.
The works took place in Nov/Dec 16 and was the final contract for Pope Plant Ltd in the year.
The project was completed along with further tree planting in order for Suez to satisfy the local planning authority that the site was now complete and fully restored to the standard expected.
The contract was completed to the high standard expected ahead of programme and within budget.
