FISHING LAKE CONSTRUCTION
Pope Plant Ltd were appointed preferred contractor to construct a twelve acre fishing lake and three stock ponds.
The work consisted of excavating unsuitable material from perimeter key trench and replacing with a clay material. The topsoil was then
stripped and placed to the outside footprint of the lake. The earthwork was then a cut and fill operation to construct lake embankments and required depth of water. Several islands and gravel bars were completed before re-placing the topsoil and seeding.
