Cell 8 Upper Engineered lift completion
As a late request Biffa Waste Services approached Pope Plant Ltd to seek the possibility of finishing an upper engineering lift left over from a previous contractor.
Due to the unexpected halt of restoration works with ecology issues on another site, Pope plant were in a position to proceed with these works with immediate effect which suited the client.
The works involved trimming formation, removing water and U/S material from the base in order to find tie-In, Clay Engineering, membrane and protection textile installation.
With help from a trusted sub-contractor previously used for material installation, the works were completed on time and within budget on a part price, part daywork basis.

Been a bit of a rush preparing this one
Apart from the hand painted counterweight it’s pretty clean
No time to rub down, fill and spray properly as off to work next week.
Full service inc Hepa filters fitted for the soil treatment facility it’s off to next week in Hertfordshire
Street pads came off nicely leaving like new grousers on the track pads👍
