Bulk earthmoving is the core business within the company. We offer our clients considerable expertise in this particular field.
During contractual works our aim is to form a firm partnership with our clients, this includes any contractual issues that may arise during the course of the works. When a tender is submitted it represents a true figure of costs involved in the project, therefore all contracts are completed within budget and without compensation events, which in turn means much of our work is repeat business with clients who have experienced a professional, affordable, safe and reliable service.
A complete package solution is available on all size projects from start to finish. With our dedicated and professional management team, surveyors and operatives monitoring all aspects of the work. From pre-start surveys to the all important Health and Safety procedures and environmental impact that a project may propose.

With our extensive owned fleet of modern plant, projects are completed within the set timescales with rarely the need to source outside equipment. This has additional benefits in the control of Health and Safety measures, which features high on our agenda.
Health and safety is controlled and monitored within the company with the added assistance from an outside consultant who perform regular safety audits as well as our own. We continually evaluate and monitor our work practices and systems for the assessment and control of risk. We operate and maintain to the highest standards keeping our staff, clients and general public in safe surroundings at all times. This is reflected in our exemplary Health and Safety record.
Pope Plant Ltd takes a proactive and professional approach to all environmental issues that may arise during the course of projects. Our work involves careful planning and management from start to finish minimising disruption to the surrounding countryside. We pride ourselves on always striving for best practice in this field. Many machines are now operated on mineral based oils and waste materials are monitored and assessed as to whether they can be recycled to reduce impact on the environment.
